My knee is getting very bad. I have fallen several times when it

buckles.

My physician is adamant I get a walker. Claims I will break a hip or

arm or whatever in a fall....

He claims when I get insurance it is possible surgery would fix the

problem.

Emotionally this is devestating. It feels like giving up and I can

not stop my eyes from tearing. Rather like entering a new scary

twilight zone.

Does anyone have suggestions on features to look for? What size

wheels?

I know I require a seat. Are they light enough for me to fold alone

to place in car?

When traveling .... are they allowed on buses, planes etc..?

Any info would be most appreciated and thank you in advance....

Cordially,

Catherien

For me, after my knee surgery, I had to have a walker with arm platforms.  If

you have hand issues, like I do, you may want to look into that.  They attach to

the sides of the walker, have a cradle you rest your forearms in and a handle to

grab onto for your hands.
