Guest guest
I was diagnosed as having RA about 2 years ago. I also have been diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia and I am bipolar. I am taking Plaquenel,Lyrica, temazepam as needed, hydrocodone as needed, tszanidine, seroquel, and I have a 50mg duragesic patch. When I first started having problems about 4 years ago they were testing me for MS. I had burning in my feet and legs, coordination problems, and weakness and pain in my hands. I had a positive test on a MRI for lesions in my brain but the spinal tap and evok test were negative. The neurologist said that if I had Ms it was a very mild case. I never followed up on with her for more tests after 6 to 12 months. I just figured what was the point. My problems got a little better for about a year and then started up with new ones. I started running a low grade fever usually around 100 degrees every so often. My pain started getting worse in my joints. I had some cases of bursitis and tendinitis. I started having morning stiffness, swelling in my hands, extreme fatigue, sometimes I am so tired it is hard to take the effort to breathe or walk to the next room. That is when I received the diagnoses of Ra and later they added Fibromyalgia. What I am worried about is now I am having blurred vision, balance problems, numbness, tingling, tremors in my hands with weakness, I can't remember things or think clearly. I wanted to know if these can all be attributed to RA or if I should ask about the MS again. I know a lot of symptoms can overlap and it is hard to figure out. I just don't know if I should worry. If you could answer my questions it would be great.
