Guest guest
, your anxiety could be a symptom of your thyroid condition itself. A certain (well known to us) doctor once said to me that it was typical of hypothyroid patients, they were frightened to do anything. We are concerned and you are not posting too much. Guest guest
Thanks, I try and look back to how I felt before diagnosis and the anxiety and sickness feelings were a major symptom so I guess because I have had to stop thyroxine and am now on a lower dose it must be that, hopefully when I get back up to a higher dose it will get better. I am/was worried that it is the HC causing it but surely thats not what it would do?--- On Thu, 11/9/08, Lilian <lilian15@...> , your anxiety could be a symptom of your thyroid condition itself. Guest guest
Hi , You are not alone in the tiredness of this disease but it can and does ease up given time and treatment. That's not to say you'll never feel it again. And you are not posting too much, as they say in 12 step groups 'Keep Coming Back'. This weekend I'm hoping I make it through given my problems with fatigue as I head off to a wedding today, we've a meal out tonight and then the wedding tomorrow afternoon and home on Sunday. I'll be sleeping all day Monday no doubt. Hang in there, I'm rooting for you. JenM
Guest guest
Hi I hope you have a really good weekend, I have a long haul trip to the US to cope with in October, 3am start! Not looking forward to the travel bit but really looking forward to some Florida sunshine, I will be fine when I get there and will use the time to relax, inbetween theme Parks! --- On Fri, 12/9/08, Jen Muir <jenmuir1968@...> Hi ,You are not alone in the tiredness of this disease but it can and does ease up given time and treatment. I call it bone-weary-can't-be-bothered. Not getting that at the moment, just " ordinary " tiredness. When I used to tell people I was always so tired after work, they would say they felt like that too, but I never heard of anyone not feeling up to getting out of the car for 15 mins, or just sitting all evening (except on this forum), I didn't cook a meal for a year - not very fair on my OH. Guest guest
Well folks I don't know how I did it but I made it through a weekend away for my pals wedding and 2 late nights (1 to 2am and the other to just passed midnight). I'm completely shattered now though and feel like I could sleep any second now. Managed the long wait for dinner yesterday without a snack but nearly caved in, maybe I should have as I felt nauseous by the time the meal came and at the start but things settled down. I surprised myself by making it to midnight last night given how late I had been on Fri, but then again I only surfaced at 11am on Sat, thank goodness it was a 3.30pm ceremony. Fab wedding though in a spectacular setting on the River Dee in Banchory. JenM
Guest guest
You may be anemic, which can cause both fatigue and bruising. Have you had your bloodwork checked lately? Are you also taking 1 tsp of unrefined salt every day?~WOn Tue, Sep 28, 2010 at 5:19 PM, Kathy <sunbriar@...> wrote: Hi all, I increased my iodoral gradually to 70 mg .. Guest guest
Are you taking the companion nutrients? Also, low levels of vitamin C can show up as bruising. I know it does for me. Guest guest
Iodine causes the toxin bromide to be excreted out of the body and these could be symptoms of bromide detoxification...Drink more water, perhaps take a break from the iodine, take 3000 mg. of Vit. C, zinc and selenium to help your kidneys excrete this stuff out of your bloodstream. Zoloft can cause some sleepyness because it is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and Xanax, definitely! Xanax is a depressant as well and one of the most misused meds out there. It can exacerbate depression.
Guest guest
Hi , have you been worked up for thyroid disease, anemia or B vitamin deficiency? Congrats on the new baby! Some days more so then others. I work full time and have a newborn which is even more exhausting. Before I got pregnant I had tried all kinds of things to help me stay awake, but they either worked well for a few days and stopped working all together, even with dose increases or I became tolerant very quickly to them. What kinds of things/medicines has everyone tried? I have tried Provigil, Adderall, Xyrem and some antidepressants... Please let me know what has worked for you. > Thanks so much!!! > , NJ > >
