and i wanted to share a bad experience i had today..

i wrote this week that my Doctor had prescribed a new

med for my face...it was $148.00 ... after taking it for a week... i

called her to see if i would be taking it long term.

Well to my surprise..the pharmacy had made a mistake and i was taking the

WRONG thing....can you believe that!!! Kaiser pharmacy said they

mis-read her writing. She was prescribing minocin and they gave me a

different antibiotic. If i hadn't called, I would have taken it for a

month and probably got refills by the prescription number ( not the

name).....they gave me vantin and she wrote it for vec-something...which

i guess is minocin

This scares me to death and believe me..i will check my med names much

closer from now on...Of course they said there was no harm to me..but it

sure gave me a big headache this afternoon!!
