Some people with RA develop secondary Sjogren's Syndrome. One of the

symptoms is enlarged parotid glands. Do you have dry eyes or a dry mouth as

well?

Hi Alice,

I have trouble with my glands/lymphnodes quite often. When my RA presented its

self originally, my lymph system went crazy. I still have problems with it when

I flare. Usually a good warning indicator for me. Luckily it seems to be

confined from the chest region up. It can be painful sometimes, but I could have

it a lot worse.

My dr. said to use heat for pain, cold for swelling and my tramadol for pain.

Hope this helps.
