Guest guest
Some people with RA develop secondary Sjogren's Syndrome. One of the symptoms is enlarged parotid glands. Do you have dry eyes or a dry mouth as well? Annette On Fri, Jan 21, 2011 at 7:50 PM, Alice N <alken211@...> wrote: > I am Alice from Flushing. > I have RA and am on hydroxychloroquine (400mg a day). Guest guest
Hi Alice, I have trouble with my glands/lymphnodes quite often. When my RA presented its self originally, my lymph system went crazy. I still have problems with it when I flare. Usually a good warning indicator for me. Luckily it seems to be confined from the chest region up. It can be painful sometimes, but I could have it a lot worse. My dr. said to use heat for pain, cold for swelling and my tramadol for pain. Hope this helps. Betsy in the VI > > On Fri, Jan 21, 2011 at 7:50 PM, Alice N <alken211@...> wrote: > > > I am Alice from Flushing. > > I have RA and am on hydroxychloroquine (400mg a day). Guest guest
Hi Alice & Betsy, I too have had a gland problem since I got Lupus and RA...Mine is confined to one side of my neck. It is painful off and on. God Bless - Vivian in LA
