Guest guest
Dear Crystal, Thank you for responding to me. I am reading this book about MS by Ann Boroch and she believes yeast in our bodies causes MS. It's rather interesting. How do I not stress out over this evil disease? I feel weighed down; and I only weigh 108 lbs. Many women with MS report feeling fantastic, then are set up for an attack after the birth with the resulting change in hormones. In fact, it's my understanding that there are studies (past or present, I'm not sure) trying to find the relationship between pregnancy and its hormonal role in keeping MS at bay. I'm also 37 and have been dealing with this for about 2.5 years. It started with optic neuritis but within a few months I had a bunch of other symptoms. The first things I did were the Best Bet Diet and acupuncture. Have also done some healing with fasting and detoxing. I have felt fantastic during this time (I do Tae Bo every day and am raising 2 young boys all on my own), EXCEPT when I developed new food allergies earlier this year. I couldn't figure out what the problem was from my food diary and basically lost a couple months of my life feeling like crap. The ELISA test shed light on this and now I'm doing great after eliminating the carrots (was eating probably 5 days a week!), asparagus, and salmon (daily supplement I used to take). My #1 recommendation that you can start right away is to get on a megadose of Vitamin D. HTH! Crystal > Hi, my name is Dayna and I am 37. I have had multiple sclerosis for a year > and a half.
