Hey, I hate to be a pooper but I've been taking MTX for almost ten years and it

hasn't subsided for me. However, taking it by self- injecting helps lessen

symptoms for some reason... Good luck! MicheleBB

heart is pounding, beating alot (prednisone?) but I didnt have a flare today

(yay!). Fell asleep for 2 hours and woke up with mouth hurting, sensitive. I

thought I wasnt supposed to get sores or anything with the folinaic acid?

Michele:

Well today is my 2nd dose and I am waiting to see how I tolerate the meds (maybe

the 2nd time is a charm? since i just took them. Trying to avoid the needles.

By needle or pill it still does so many things to the body, the liver gets

angry, the mouth gets sores, etc. I am sure I cant afford the biologics either,

there are no generics, plus I hate the needle thing,

I am trying to keep doing my normal stuff, with some adjustments, maybe with

these meds I will be able to ignore the RA.

My aunt has it really bad, diagnosed 25 years ago, but back then they only

treated the pain, not the disease, so everybody who had it got really bad. Now

my RA says she is treating it so agreesively, maybe it will back up all the way.

I dred going off the Predni though, dont want that swelling/pain.....

OKD
