Sue,

>I'm sorry I am just now getting this reply to you. I really appreciate it. It

really helps to get input before I go to my RA Doctor. I don't live in a City

that is very good for RA patients. I live in Chattanooga TN and am having to

drive to Nashville to see an RA Doctor. There are only a couple here in town

that accept insurance and I have been waiting over 4 months to even get a call

for an appointment. That's not 4 months for an appointment but 4 months for a

call to get an appointment. I'm not sure why it is this way in Chattanooga. It

took less than 2 weeks for someone to call me from Vanderbilt in Nashville. Oh

well... At least I have an appointment. I have been in pain for so long and

was not treated correctly by my GP Doctor who I kept going to for years. He told

me that I didn't need to go see an RA doctor and that he could treat my RA. But

it didn't go so well. My new GP Doctor immediately tested me for RA and other

things and wanted me to go to RA doctor as soon as possible. But I didn't have

much luck finding one that would accept my insurance as I noted above. Anyway,

it's been a struggle. I'm so glad to find this site. I don't know anyone else

who has this and I've really been in the dark about what to do.

Thank you for your support.

Lori,

I'm glad you were able to find a rheumatologist that accepts your

insurance and doesn't make you wait ages to see him. I hope that he

will be a good fit for you. Good luck!
