Been reading a while....new update...

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia on 6-6-09. The rheumatologist says that I have

arthritis in my hands, but since all my lab work was mostly normal, I do not

have rheumatoid arthritis. (Or so he says....x-rays show arthritis damamge to my

hands though.) He then just said I had fibromyalgia and left. The pain is

enough to kill me and the mornings and evenings are the worst. Just looking for

some support and help from others who are going through this as well. I feel

that he is wrong. To prove my point I have half a mind to go off my meds for a

month before my next rheumy appointment to have him see me before all the meds.

And I just might, its just the the pain is so intense then. Anyhow, thanks for
