[ ] Very OT: class project

Hi all, forgive the very off topic request, but I this group is very diverse and

I thought it might be fun to invite members to participate. My first grader is

doing a project wherein the class collects postcards, discusses the postmark and

place of origin, and puts them on a map. If anyone might be interested in

sending one to Charlie's class here in Illinois, I would be grateful. Thanks,

and I hope you are enjoying a relaxing Sun evening. Kate F

Hi Sharon, thank you so much. That will be such for the kids to get a card from

Australia and it will surely lead to a fun discussion in class. Charlie's first

caregiver in his infant room at daycare was from Australia. We lived on the

west coast in Washington state and I can still hear her saying, " Oh

Chaaaa-lie. " She was also impressed that we called pacifiers " dummies " since I

was born in Canada, that was what we always called them.

Here's the info:

Charlie Fair

c/o Mrs. Yonce's Class

St. School

1307 Lincolnshire Drive

Champaign, IL 61821

Thanks and best wishes, Kate
