Guest guest
Sounds to me like you Social Security person is a little confused about things. 90% of disability claims are filed by the claimee, in fact they recommend it, so that should have nothing to do with it. I'd stay on her case until this is resolved because it all should be auto-managed at this point anyway. Generally, you get your back pay first when they notify you that your claim was approved and then your monthly distribution follows four to six weeks later. MTX can cause brain fog, but I always remembered I need money! Lol Stan, Seattle, Sun! [ ] re: disability reply to deb m Hi Deb, I would love to have my backpay within 6 weeks , but she stated because I have a lawyer involved it might take about 5 months to recieve. The did very little work as I filed the appeal on my own, etc. Regarding needing a payee, I have no idea. I am way over 18 at age 46. Â I have no issues with money other than I need more of it...LOL. Â I have some ideas why they think it, but it might be farfetched. Â I have NLD....horrible with math. Â Brain fog? who knows.... Heidi in Mass.
