Guest guest
- Remicade stopped working for me too, and then Orencia. My doctor and I decided Acetemra was the best next option for me. We discussed this the day after it was released! My first treatment is scheduled for the 22nd of this month. I'm nervous, but hopeful. If you'd like to, keep in touch with me and I'll keep you updated with how it goes. And surprisingly, for those worried about insurance approving the new medication, my insurance company approved it at 100% with a copay. Awesome! > > Looks like the Remicade isn't working anymore. My Rheumy is going to up my doseage one last time and see if I improve. Right now I'm pretty messed up. He upped my prednisone to get the swelling down in my feet and lower back, only to have nagging pain start up in my hands, especially the thumbs. Which sucks because my thumbs haven't been a issue for months. > > So the Twenty thousand dollar question is has anyone else tried Actemra yet? It is the drug my doctor wants me to consider. I know it's just been approved, and have read all the info on the drug co. website. > > Any thoughts? Or do I get to be the lab rat for the list? (Well I may have RA, but I still have my sense of humor.) > > >
Guest guest
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has experience with actemra. Had a second infusion today and reacted negatively to it. I would appreciate any information you may have. Thanks. Lenae
