Guest guest
Hi Lis, I don't have the nausea/headache/vomiting problem but I do wonder if any of the foods you are still using have any of the fake sugars or another ingredient you can't tolerate, like soya (soybean oil in many of these products). A lot of us here are on the Best Bet Diet (BBD) so wouldn't eat soya, ice cream, Wasa crackers, or butter. Try eliminating one at a time, or going for an ELISA allergy test. Hope you pinpoint it soon. Janet To: mscured From: lh311@... Date: Thu, 4 Dec 2008 15:48:11 +0000 Subject: Headaches w/Nausea & Vomiting episodes Hi...I was dx with MS in Jan. of this year. I found out about and read the book " The MS Recovery Diet " . I've felt much better in many ways since changing the way I eat. I don't follow an extremely strict diet but I've eliminated many things. One of the main things I stay away from are the fake sugars like Sweet-n-low. I believe without a doubt that was contributing to my symptoms of the headaches/nausea/vomiting episodes which I was having every few months. The thing is I still have those episodes but can't pinpoint the culprit. I don't eat or drink anything with fake sugar in it. I eat a lot more fruits, veggies, rice, some crackers, breads...I still indulge in ice-cream sometimes. I try to flavor foods with spices like cinnamon, mrs. dash, blk pepper, ect....I'm not a cook for sure! So I keep things as simple as possible..for example, breakfast is chopped apples w/cinnamon & raisins...lunch is bagged lettuce with Newman's dressing and Wasa crackers...dinner will be a baked potato with butter spray and salsa. Has anyone else had the same headache/vomit episodes and pinpointed what causes it or is there something I can do to help reduce them? Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thx, lis _ _________________________________________________________________ Explore the seven wonders of the world http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=7+wonders+world & mkt=en-US & form=QBRE
