I'm taking Arava and have been having burning on the bottom of my feet on and

off now for a while. It first started when I was on the 20mg dose after about 6

months. Then my doc lowered my dose to 10mg because my white cells were too low.

I have been on the 10mg dose for 10 months and still get the burning on the

bottoms of my feet off and on. Don't know if its the Arava or not so just

wondering if anyone else has had this. I will be stopping this med in a couple

of weeks when I start Enbrel. Guess we will see what happens.

I have also had trouble with burning feet and hands while taking Arava, but the

burning has improved. I had no trouble with my feet and hands before taking

arava. I just started Enbrel as well, but will still be taking the arava as

well. I hope your feet feel better soon, but I would say the arava definetly

has something to do with our foot troubles. Thanks, .

Hi - I'm sorry, I don't have the answer for you, but am curious about Arava - my

Rheumy wants me to start this drug. Did it work for you? Other than the problems

you are having now, did you have any side effects? Good luck with the Enbrel -

it really worked great for me, but I had to stop taking it after getting chronic

infections. I do miss it!

Other than the white blood cell count and this burning I haven't had any

problems with it. It hasn't worked for me like we would like but nothing really

seems to anymore. Hopefully you will have good results with it. Sorry to hear

about the infections on the Enbrel. Wish me luck.
