Guest guest
I've been on Enbrel for 8 years, and it's not caused me to lose any hair. Did you taper off of the prednisone? You're not supposed to quit it abruptly. But if it's been two weeks since you stopped it, I imagine you would have already had the side effects that stopping it abruptly can cause. Here is an article on female hair loss, and prednisone is listed as one of the causes. http://www.bernsteinmedical.com/hair-loss/women/causes/ Sue On Jan 4, 2011, at 3:10 PM, suzy wrote: > I started enbrel 4 weeks ago and on prednisone 2 aday I stop the > prednison like 2 weeks ago. now I dont know if it was the enbrel or > the prednison doing it but I am loseing more hair then before. Guest guest
I was diagnosed as Hypo-Thyroid due to hair loss and feeling cold-- go figure. You might see your GP about this. Food for thought-- Chris -

Guest guest
Hi Chris.....that could be the reason for hair loss also. I did ask my pcp to run a thryoid test, but that came back normal in my case. a In a message dated 1/4/2011 10:10:30 P.M.
