In me the Threonine (different from Theonine) reduces the stiffness so

it is hardly noticeable. I take that, L-theanine (green tea extract)

and magnesium to stop the spasms. Anti-spasm Drugs such as backlofen

weaken the muscles.

For arthritis I take 6 grams of Lysine, 6 grams of C crystals on an

empty stomache. Taking a lesser amount of Lysine will be completely

ineffective though I hear you can reduce the Lysine after, and only

after, improvement.

These are all amino acids, yes? Any info on research on autoimmune d/o and

aminos?

Hi Lydia and all,

I am going to give the Threonine a try for my leg stiffness. Lydia, can

you tell us if you break up the 6grams throughout the day, or do you

take it all at once?

I have been taking Xanax to reduce the stiffness in my leg. I know this

is a terrible solution, but the stiffness is so distressing, and I have

found that the Xanax has been the only thing to relieve it. So anyway,

I am looking forward to giving the Threonine a try. I hope I get the

same results Lydia did.

I don't have spasms, but I do have the stiffness/hug mostly on my lower

right leg and sometimes on my lower right arm. Some symptom relief

without the Xanax would be great.

Hi Lydia,

I think I am going to try it too and see what happens....

how do you take the threonine? 6gr one dosis? with or without food/ any time of

the day in particular?
