Guest guest
LOL....believe or not I am one in a million, I detest chocolate. I have just been reading about high blood sugar and mine seems to be very high. I am not much of an eater to begin with. Lot's of the stuff on Diabetes is conflicting. Like saying you are hungry all the time I am not. I am thirsty very much so. I probably down 2 gallons a day. When I wake up my thirst is so bad I can easily drink 32 oz's of water.......Take Care, Connie --- sylvati <sylvati@...> wrote: > Dear Connie > > I am sorry to hear the troubles you are having with > diabetes and expensive > prescriptions. I am just starting to research it and so much is contradictory, of the way I feel and other stuff. Maybe it is the other things wrong with me that covers it up. Does the problems ever end? Guest guest
I already eat like that. My friend Eddie said Good Lord Girl what are you going to eat, you don't eat enough now to keep a bird alive. The only problem I am going to have is having to eat when I am suppose to. Not just whenever I feel hungry. Most of the time that is once a day and I will eat anything to get rid of the hunger. Then I am content till the next time. I drink a lot of juice and eat a lot of veggies sometimes spinach right out of the can cold. People always say Yuck (like you are now).....I want to thank all of you, you guys keep my spirit up......Connie --- claudine intexas <claudineintexas@...> wrote: > > --- sylvati <sylvati@...> wrote: > she got a blood sugar measuring > > gadget from the drugstore > > and used it twice a day or more often if she was > > feeling ill. Guest guest
Claudine Sorry to hear of your added problem of diabetes. I know a woman here that has Hep C and diabetes together. It is harder for her having to watch that to. I will ask her a few questions and maybe I can help you with a few answers. Hang in there. The cost of prescriptions is amazing to me still - I know it shouldn't be by now after this past year or so but come on how can we afford to get and stay well? Hope the organization MAP can help you I have never heard of that maybe it is a local group in your area only. Your in our prayers!! Guest guest
Hello Amy in Oregon I'm Nanny in cold, snow bound Michigan. I'm unable to work anymore but I remember the days of working and trying to raise a family. It's very hard to try to take care of your self when there is so much to do. Don't blame the P or PA on the vacation you probably just slowed down enough for it to catch up! All kidding aside we don't know what causes this stuff but you will surely find the friendship and support here. We'd like to hear from you weather it's a good day or bad one. Sure as the dickens someone will be feeling the same way as you.

Guest guest
Lyra, It is my opinion that you should stay on them for as long as you are continually exhibiting symptoms. The whole " Post Lyme syndrome " is a myth....if you still have symptoms then you still have an active infection. Just my opinion. I would err ont he side of caution and find a LLMD ASAP b/c it sounds like your duck is " Old School " . Debbie Brooklyn

Guest guest
I am having a similar problem. I've been doing ok until the past few weeks or so, I have about 12 weeks to go. I have a toothache which probably isn't helping, but I really feel lousy. Did you get a rash and then get diangosed right away? 5 bands is rare.. I think u herxed from the abx. Your lyme has just moved to a new apartment: your hands and feet. Now that your not on drugs symptoms will get worse. Are you on any special diet? what symptoms presented to get u to a doc initially - i am curious about your history. you can email me privately if you like, or post here. just my 2 cents.. Guest guest
Hi - I didn't have the best of luck with MTX - It made me sick to my stomach, so I started injecting it instead, which was no big deal and helped the stomach - you might ask about it. The shots really don't hurt. But as far as the tiredness and soreness, I never really did get full relief. I was able to keep working and definitely it did help bring down a major flare, but I never had full remission. I'm on enbrel now, and we shall see. Anyway, about the housework, kids, college, etc. The worst thing for the pain is stress - try not to take on too much. Do what you want to do, but don't over do it. You can always ask for help with housework or live in a house that would embarass Martha (so what? you won't be reported ) I went back to college as an adult and had a BLAST! But it is a lot of pressure, so try it out slowly if you can. Good luck - keep posting and keep us up to date on how things are going. Guest guest
I've been on meth about 4 years. It did absolute wonders for my P (until this past month when I'm experiencing a flare for the 1st time since starting the meth). However, it has never helped my PA.....Sorry! However, luckily I've not had any adverse side effects from it. The only drawback I find is the liver biopsy every 2 years. Hang in there...you have many things to try.
