Guest guest
I am finally home today. It is great to be home, that's for sure. My knee replacement went well, and I am doing good. Finally got my pain under control 9 days after the surgery. It was pure hell, and my doctors were trying so hard to find the right pain meds. that would work for me. The morphine pump did nothing for me. I have never cried so much in my life. I was totally unprepared for all that. They finally put in a Dulouded? pump, took 2 perkies every 4 hours, oxycodone in between and they added a muscle relaxer. This was the right meds. for me, thank God. My P.T. went well, and I am walking with the walker, and also with a cane. Right now I am sticking with the walker for stability and safety. I have thought of all of you, and hope everyone is doing better. It was great to talk with Heidi and Doreen. I was so happy that they called me. Also, thanks for all the cards. I sure did enjoy getting them. I have over 2100 e-mails, and I will begin reading all the ones from our group tomorrow. Wishing everyone pain free days ahead.
