Hi Stacie,

I saw it. Has your son been on any antibiotics prior to the rash? It looks the

same as what my son went through a few years ago. Turned out that it took time

for the penicillin he was on to build up in his system before he broke out in

the rash. He didn't break out until after he completed the course of treatment.

Has his doctor seen it yet? He really should as it looks like an allergy to

something he ingested.

Stacie,

It looks like purpura of some kind. There are many possible causes of

purpura (if that's what it is).

Your son needs to be seen by a physician. Take the photo with you

since the rash is starting to fade.

He has been to 3 docters and 2 hospitals,know one seems two what it is,nothing

has changed with eating he has not had a fever.It started with hives then it got

smooth and flat and dark purple.they are testing for Lupus,Rheumatoid Artritis

and I think it was called Celisitis,but like I said know one really knows.
