The reaction was basically were all of my joints started to flare. MY

temperature went up to 102.2 and I felt really dizzy every time I stood up... I

dealt with it by using ice packs and sleeping as much as possible.

It was explained to me that my body basically was giving me a taste of what it

would feel like if I wasn't taking any medications at all. To me, it felt like

I was hit by a Mac Truck and left to suffer. Fortuneltly, this only lasted two

days and then I started improving again. I hope this doesn't scare you....

Even after that reaction, I still went back to get the second dose, because I

know how good I can feel once the medicine kicks into full force. I would deal

with the reaction everytime if need be, because I really feel its worth feeling

better for the next four months.

Rituxin was my last hope... Enbrel didn't work well enough and I'm unable to

take the other RA drugs because it would make my Lupus go crazy. I am so

thankful for Rituxin! My actual dx is Undifferentiated Connective Tissue

Disease... I have RA, Lupus and Raynaulds. (at least so far... my doc seems to

believe I have something else going on also, but that the meds are keeping it

hidden)
