Guest guest
Hi everyone. I do have fibromyalgia, but I am sure I have some other forms of arthritis. All my xrays, etc have always said you have some arthritis here. Whats bothering me is in the last 3 months I have become in bad bad shape. I freeze up...my joints freeze up I guess. My muscles, ligaments are painful most of the time, which I pawn off on fibro. But this joint pain has been on both elbows, both wrists, both hips, and both knees. I wake to this everyday. It takes 4 tramadol and an hour before I am halfway comfortable. I am only 47. One knee is swelling twice its size almost daily. I know fibromyalgia is a form of arthritis, but do you think this is rheumatoid, osteo, what? I am miserable ans need help. I have no insurance. Any replies are appreciated. Guest guest
Hi Meelee - I understand and sympathize with what you're going through. I have Fibromyalgia (FM) AND Sero-negative Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). The FM mostly affects the muscles and connective tissues while RA affects the bones and joints. It is possible that you have both, but only a qualified doctor can make that diagnosis. I also am uninsured, so I know how hard that is, too. My Rheumy gives a discount for cash pays - perhaps you could find one that will help you with that, too. I also have a discount Rx card - http://www.yourrxcard.com/ - that helps alot with the cost of prescriptions. Its not easy, but I do what I can. Are you working? Do you qualify for Medicaid? Have you applied for SSD? There are lots of options you can explore. Keep us posted - we care. Best of luck to you.....Doreen > > Hi everyone.
