Guest guest
HI Darlene, I take the MTX orally but am very much considering injecting it. Taking it orally is really messing up my GI track. I wanted to let you know that I did respond to your last post to me off list. Hope you received it okay.. _Needle size and reactions... _ ( /message/130328;_ylc=X3oDMTJyamc1cjF2BF\ 9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzEwMTQ3OARncnBzcE lkAzE3MDUwNjE2MTAEbXNnSWQDMTMwMzI4BHNlYwNkbXNnBHNsawN2bXNnBHN0aW1lAzEyNDU4Nz k4ODg-) Posted by: " dulainee " _dulainee@... _ (mailto:dulainee@...?Subject= Re:Needle%20size%20and%20reactions...) _dulainee _ (dulainee) Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:37 pm (PDT) Hi everyone, hope you're all pain free or dealing with it easily. I am wondering how everyone takes their MTX injection. When I started I was using a 23 or 25 gauge by 3/8 or 1 inch. EVERY SUNDAY I WOULD DREAD THE THOUGHT OF THAT NEEDLE!!!! I was told and shown by the nurse that the injection should go IM. Now with a new script in hand I go to the pharmacist only to be told that the script stated SQ. FINE!!! He gives me the new needles 31g by 5/16. OOOOHHH MMMYYY GGGAAAWWDDD! These are nothing compared to the previous, so I call the Doc, " whats up with the size needle? " She made a mistake, wants it IM not SQ, reorders more needles at my cost!!!!!! Heres the problem... with the IM injection, the nausea was immediate. With the SQ I barely have any sickness, can anyone concur. Also, does anyone feel a difference with air condition ie: too cold. Feeling better in hot humid Park Ridge, newbie darlene. **************Stay connected and tighten your budget with a great mobile device for under $20. Take a Peek!
