No, Stan, I didn't know it was coming on. I'm sorry I missed it. I've

just grown to expect nothing but reruns at this time of the year.

That's how I happened across it, everything else was reruns. I think if a

network figured out there is not actually a TV watching " season " Tehir gonna

make a killing.

Hi Stan,

I watched the special as well and what I found most interesting was how many

civilizations disappeared because they used up all the resources that were

available to them at that time. Easter Island, the Romans and The Mayan's

civilization, because that is all I remember. I really felt that was such a

great example of civilizations like ours misusing all the resources we have and

ending up with starvation because of draughts, wars because of people trying to

migrate to find food and plagues because of lack of food and water. Global

warming certainly isn't the whole picture. I would really recommend everyone try

and watch this special if it is shown again.

What was also surprising is that none of the civilizations you mention had even

the slightest thought that it could happen to them. I find it kind of amazing

that all of them had the signs right in front of them but none of them saw it

coming.
