Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has done the Reclast infusions for

osteoporosis. I am scheduled to get it in two weeks when I go for my next

Remicade infusion. Background: I had a spontaneous hip fracture at the ripe

old age of 38, which was attributed to long term prednisone use. I've

completed two years of Forteo injections, and now I need to maintain the

bone density increase with something, and my doctors feel Reclast is the

best option. Since it's only given once a year, it just scares me a little,

because it must be darn strong if you only need it once a year! Thanks.

So sorry that you had a fracture, Patty. I hope someone here has

experience with Reclast to share.
