Guest guest
Hi dear friends, Just finishing up my St. s Day celebrations. My house is decorated and had corned beef, cabbage and boiled potatoes. No, we are not Irish, but grew up in Chicago and it is almost considered a national holiday! I did everything but dye my pool green! Laying kinda low right now. I have hit my prescription $4000.00 on Medicare, so my husband is having palpitations about this until our Humana rep can explain. We have had a million discussions about this and the cost of my medications and would I mind taking " something " that costs less. I had an appt with my rheumy, but I canceled it. I remembered that the only thing that he prescribes (if anything) is expensive and this was not the time to go down that path. Have been in terrible pain from the neuropathy for the last week. Today is the first day that it has not been raging. It was so bad that even my pain medication didn't cover it. Have been kinda ugly to live with. We didn't have the baby today, so we were able to kinda catch our breath. She is normally so good, but those times that the terrible twos sneak in, that it is tough. Gentle, tender angel hugs...... Debs in FL [ ] Hi Debs.... So nice to see you posting today. You have been in my thoughts, and I sure hope you are still doing good. I know you must be enjoying our wonderful weather finally in Florida. What have you been up to? I am doing good still, and I am going to my girlfriends home in New Port Richey for 5 days. I am so looking forward to spending time with her. I hope all is well with your family. Enjoy this fine day and talk soon. Love and hugs to you my dear friend. Guest guest
Hi Debs: I just got home and was going through all my e-mails. I was so sorry to read that you are in pain. That Neuropathy is a real b----h. Does the weather aggrivate it? I see my Rheumy this week and I have a bad problem on my right foot arch. I have a very large RA nodule on it and the pain is unbearable. I hope there is something I can do about it. I can hardly walk on that foot. Other then that, my RA is still good. I am sure your " Irish " meal was wonderful. That is so tasty. This is the first year I didn't cook my Irish meal as I was away. Finally nice warm weather here. Are you having the same on your side of Florida? I sure hope so. I will keep you in my prayers, and I sure hope your pain goes away soon. Take care of yourself and talk soon. Love and hugs, Barbara > > > Hi dear friends, > > Just finishing up my St. s Day celebrations. My house is decorated and had corned beef, cabbage and boiled potatoes.
