I use the Lyrica , 50 mg. 2 times a day and Fioricet for pain. Keeps me going

and rarely do I get sleepy. The Davacet, Ultram did zip for me. And the

Morphine pills made me ill- yuck! I hope your appointment goes well. I go

Tuesday. Did my bloodwork last week. ;) D. in south HOT Louisiana

Aleve daily (one in a.m. and one in p.m.) I can barely get out of bed the next

day from the stiffness. At this stage of the game I continue to get VERY random

flare-ups, especially in my neck and both shoulders...they just come on so

quickly and wipe me out. I have tried Tylenol 3 and it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

for my pain- I keep coming back to Aleve because it keeps me moving ( decreasing

inflammation i presume) I am a little worried about my continued daily use of it

as people tell me it is dangerous-well I don't see any other option other than

lying in bed all day in dreadful pain/stiffness. Does anyone have

recommendations for meds to talk with my rheumatologist about? I am going in for

my initial appointment this wednesday...better start my list of questions hey!!

I'm on 50mg of Tramadol and 5/325 of Percocet. I use the tramadol at my job

because we are not allowed to take narcotics at work and use teh percocets at

home. I was on mtx but it made me deathly ill both the pills and injectables.

i was on enbrel but since having surgery in November had to discontinue it

because it has stopped working. I have not seen my rheumy since july and I'm

currently looking for a new one.

,

Aleve and other NSAIDS can kill your stomach. If it helps you, you may want to

consider taking a Prilosec about 30 minutes prior to each Aleve.

Are you excited about your first appt? :-)
