Guest guest
Arlene, I do about 98% of the cooking in our house, have most of our married life. In my late teens & early twenty's I was the lead cook in a nursing home. Our chef tryed to talk me into going to school to be a chef. But I didn't like working nights & hollidays. So I decidded not to go that rout. Susy is always saying she might be getting older but she refuses to grow up. Guest guest
I'm doin ok today but not much drive. I piled some wood this morning and took the dogs for a walk. Judy has teaching a Reiki class all day so I guess it is up to me to make supper. I can't decide between chili and pizza - I make my own dough in the bread machine. Guess I better see if I can find a coin to flip. I see DZ is having winter weather and it's head my way. We are only supposed to get rain - but we really need it - the resivours in the north east are very low and there will be very little spring snow melt - not a good thing. The smaller ponds are starting to open up so canoeing, sailing, and fishing aren't too far away. Hope everyone is having a good day. Guest guest
Diane ----here's how we got rid of the buggers(bees) went out just about dark in eve. & ken placed a window screen(frame & all) over where they were @ -then he poured a whole quart of liquid Sevin(made by Ortho) all over holes & area close by- you're supposed to dilute the Sevin -but Ken had been stung soo many times & they were attacking our horses too....so he didn't bother with diluting it--gave it FULL strength ---You can get liquid Sevin @ just about any hardware store or anyplace that sells fertilizers- & weed killers!! Worked just great & they never came back for the next 3 years we lived there!!! actually I don't believe they EVER came back, as we still visit with our neighbor who used to live @ next place over from us & believe me she knows everything that goes on in neighborhood!!
