I was 36 when my son was born, so I expect it will be

a while before I join the grandparent club. He's got

another 10 years at least (I hope). Then again my

stepson is married, so I'm hoping I become a

step-grandpa soon!!! -dz-

I've never had Chili w/o meat either It's somehow just not real CHILI-- but

real veggie food--but then again that's supposed to be good for us all-- but

I have to have MEAT in my chili......That's almost like having spaghetti w/o

the sauce on it<g>

Sharon-----you're lucky there-- being able to eat steak...I used to love a

good steak-- but it just doesn't settle with me any longer & I tend to get

ill from it...I can still mange hamburger every now & then.....same with

eggs--they don't bother so long as I only have them about once a month

Arlene, I do about 98% of the cooking in our house,

have most of our married life. In my late teens &

early twenty's I was the lead cook in a nursing home.

Our chef tryed to talk me into going to school to be a

chef. But I didn't like working nights & hollidays. So

I decidded not to go that rout.

Susy is always saying she might be getting older

but she refuses to grow up.

I'm doin ok today but not much drive. I piled some wood this morning and

took the dogs for a walk.

Judy has teaching a Reiki class all day so I guess it is up to me to make

supper. I can't decide between chili and pizza - I make my own dough in the

bread machine. Guess I better see if I can find a coin to flip.

I see DZ is having winter weather and it's head my way. We are only

supposed to get rain - but we really need it - the resivours in the north

east are very low and there will be very little spring snow melt - not a

good thing. The smaller ponds are starting to open up so canoeing, sailing,

and fishing aren't too far away.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Diane ----here's how we got rid of the buggers(bees) went out just about

dark in eve. & ken placed a window screen(frame & all) over where they were

@ -then he poured a whole quart of liquid Sevin(made by Ortho) all over holes

& area close by- you're supposed to dilute the Sevin -but Ken had been stung

soo many times & they were attacking our horses too....so he didn't bother

with diluting it--gave it FULL strength ---You can get liquid Sevin @ just

about any hardware store or anyplace that sells fertilizers- & weed killers!!

Worked just great & they never came back for the next 3 years we lived

there!!! actually I don't believe they EVER came back, as we still visit with

our neighbor who used to live @ next place over from us & believe me she

knows everything that goes on in neighborhood!! She used to be with the

Sheriff's Dept<g>

I have also been having tremendous pain in RUQ area...my liver is really

paining me even my lower frontal ribs feel bruised....I don't like too take

too many pain meds- my gastro doc only allows me to take 2 per week so my

rx's are for only 10 per month.....doesn't want me doing anymore harm to that

darn liver!! Also he's afraind I might get addicted to them...... that's has

never been a problem for me as my BRAIN & Willpower just will not allow me to

get addicted!! seriously---I wish & plan to live longer than addiction would

allow!!

Arlene with this disease you can chose to cry or

laugh. I'll be damed if I'm going to let get the best

of me. Even if it does me in. I'll be laughing all the

way to the pearly gates.

Well when I reach the pearly gates and I know in my heart it was the Hep that caused my death in one way or another I told my hubby I do not want anyone saying what the Drs said I died from but that the Hep caused it..Hopefully it will open others minds..I am no longer ashamed of it and I feel it should be known..Just think how many people have passed due to something the Hep caused..Because without it it may not have happened..Hummmm something to think about..
