Guest guest
Oh dear, so sorry to hear of your syndrome. You say " yet another autoimmune disease " . I was shocked to find out there are over a hundred such things, many overlapping. I read a book by Donna Nakazawa called The Autoimmune Epidemic that my husband brought home for me from the library. It was pretty compelling and I learned much about the whole autoimmune disease scenario. She also has a website : www.autoimmuneepidemic.com Rojo Re: RESEARCH - Are steroids a consistent risk factor for infections Posted by: " OKD " Cofade_2000@... cofade_2000 Thu Feb 10, 2011 10:15 am (PST) Yes, they did. They think I have antiphospholipid syndrome, they are not sure yet. I have to undergo different scans after the coumadin, to make sure i have no more blood clots anywhere and also if I have this syndrome that has lingered continue on the blood thinners, they test that with blood tests. I am told antiphospholipid syndrome is ANOTHER damn autoimmune disease. OKD
