Survey: Many primary care providers plan to cut back or quit

A Physicians' Foundation survey of 12,000 general practice providers found 11%

plan to retire, 20% will cut back on patient loads, 10% will move to part-time

work and 13% will look for a job that doesn't involve active patient care. More

than three-quarters of respondents said they are working at " full capacity " or

are " overextended and overworked. " Yahoo!/Reuters (11/18)
