Hi Pat,

I believe that it is no longer viable. You really need to call Enbrel

though for confirmation. Did you have it packed in ice? I remember a nurse

telling me that after about 20 minutes out it isn't good anymore. Best to call

Enliven.

Hello,

Can someone tell me the consequences of an Enbrel sure-click becoming

room temperature for 24 hours? I am traveling and my injection was

left in my suitcase for 24 hours before I had a chance to refrigerate

it. Is it still ok to use?

Thanks!

Pat

It should be OK, but the safest thing to do is to call Enbrel's

Enliven Services (1.888.4ENBREL).

FWIW I went thru this last year.  I called Enliven and they said they had safety

and efficacy data for Enbrel stored at room temp for 72 hrs.
