Guest guest
I am wondering if there is any such study connecting cognitive function with MTX, I've noticed with certain people, to include myself, there are some minor issues going on. For myself it's usually the day after medication when I'll walk into a room looking for something I already have in my hand, or I'll look at the date two or three times before I " get it " even though I know I am looking at it. It's a strange experience because you only realize you're doing it after you've done it. Hard to explain. I know we all have those times, but I've noticed the frequency of these events has gone up (for me) since I started taking MTX. Another person, who is older, complains to me that he just out and out forgets things and he wasn't that way before taking MTX. I am concerned, because as we all know, I just can't risk losing any more cognitive function! Stan, Seattle, Cloudy.
Guest guest
My own personal " study " was that Mtx helped with the RA symptoms but for 2-3 days after taking it i felt like a zombie. I was so tired I could hardly move off of the couch and could not remember which direction I was heading if I did get up. I finally stopped it as it was becoming less effective on the RA symptoms too. linda From: stanpfister@... <stanpfister@...> Subject: Re: [ ] RESEARCH - Cognitive function and 99mTc-ECD brain SPECT are significantly correlated in patients with primary Sjogren's syndrome Date: Friday, January 23, 2009, 11:30 AM I am wondering if there is any such study connecting cognitive function with MTX, I've noticed with certain people, to include myself, there are some minor issues going on.
