Guest guest
I just have to step in here and let you all know that there are many revision post-ops here who only had one surgery, including patients of Dr. Gagner. In fact, in my time on this list since May, I think that I have only heard of 2 revisions which had to be done in 2 parts. Don't assume that you will or will not need 2 surgeries just because someone else does. All our anatomies are different and those of you with prior WLS have different types of adhesions, scar tissue, etc. Talk to your surgeon before panicking. Guest guest
All, When reading any posting remember it is a individual post. What was said to me pertains only to me. Dr G wants to do the surgery in 2 parts for me and me alone. The post l sent was for support in my future WLS. Please dont think that anyone other then myself will need 2 surgeries. PS> l have complete confidence in Dr G. Everyone in this support group wants to lose weight but not at a price of death. Therefore, if he thinks 2parts is what l need to accomplish my goal then l will chose wheter or not to accept. Remember our goal is to lose the weight and become healthy. kookie
