A Whole New Life!

Hello Dr. Rutledge!

I've got two things to tell you, one of which you will like, one I'm not so

sure about!

First, I hit the 120 pound weight loss on Monday, and it really sneaked up

on

me! I bet I had gone for 10 weeks, losing only 1 1/2 pounds, then last

week,

they just vanished. My surgery was 3/8/99, and I think that's pretty

doggone

good! I'm now at 229, down from 349!

Now, the thing you may not be overjoyed about......I have scheduled a

panniculectomy for 1-5-99, and I'm ecstatic! Every time I have

lost weight in the past, this is something that I have really, really wanted

to do, but for some reason or another didn't. Now, my dream is coming true!

I can't wait to be able to wear a bathing suit this summer! What a way to

start the new year and the new millennium!

One other side note: I have a new man! He is flying in to ring in the

New Year with me! That as a matter of fact, is why my surgery is not until

after he returns on 1-2-99! If I had not had my surgery, this would never

have happened, and that's a fact. Thank you again, for the millionth time

for developing and performing this surgery!!
