Oh dear Irene, you need to be absolutely BATHED in a cosy warm place right now, cocooned somehow! Have you GOT a nice deep bath?

Have you got a personal counseller I can't remember you ever talking of having one???Perhaps such a person could help you deal with the understandable feelings of anger & frustration & help you sort out a plan of action!

Here comes the biggest, HUGEST HUG this board can manage!

Well Missy Irene, firstly, as a mastter of URGENCY, I recommend a gorgeous DEEP hot bath with your fave bath oil (I LOVE Lavender!) If you've got candles get those going.....beautiful soft music & ENJOY a lovely drift in the soothing water SOooooooooo Healing fro the mind, body & Spirit.........

Second, while good friends that you can say anything to are wonderful they are NOT the same deal as a GOOD counsellor......a counsellor can take you to BEYOND the roundabout! The going round n' round in never ending circles in dealing with your life problems. .....I'm sure Bruce will have a lot more good advice on this score..LISTEN to him....I REALLY think you NEED a good counsellor URGENTLY.....

When you're back on the Board Bruce can you add to this......PLEASE!

SOMETHING has to break this cycle of negative dealings with the medical profession Irene.....maybe an intermediary SOMETHING or SOMEONE!

SOON!

But for now......back to that BATH......drift off Irene to a comfort zone!!!!!!

Irene...please, do go see a counselor! Friends are wonderful and necessary but they do not have the skills to participate in your emotional turmoil. You need some positive direction right now as well as empathy and sympathy.

Do reconsider, will you?

Mama-Sher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!

I've just been speaking to my friend in Serbia, and they don't celebrate easter until April 28th. In the western world easter, originally a pagan festival, is celebrated on the sunday after the first full moon of spring, or the 4th full moon after solstice. (both work out the same)

Here is some info from the Internet:

Easter in Canada Overview

Easter is celebrated in Canada at the same time and in much the same way as it is in other Western countries, like the US. Easter Sunday is the Sunday immediately following the first full moon after the vernal (spring) equinox. It can fall anywhere between March 22 and April 25.Good Friday is the Friday two days before Easter Sunday and Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday. Most everything is closed Easter Sunday; it's a popular day for attending church, getting together for a big family meal, and staging an Easter egg hunt. Both Good Friday and Easter Monday are statutory, or public, holidays in Canada, which means that government offices, banks and schools are closed. However holiday hours for retail establishments vary. Call ahead to restaurants, shopping malls and tourist attractions to confirm holiday hours.

Many cities hold an Easter Parade, such as the Toronto Beaches Lions Annual Easter Parade. When is the Easter Holiday in Canada?

Diane,

I'm Greek Orthodox and we do not celebrate on the same day as Catholics or with rest of the world. With my religion I know exactly when we celebrate Easter. I ask you kindly, please drop it!.

Here is some info from the Internet:

Easter in Canada Overview

Easter is celebrated in Canada at the same time and in much the same way as it is in other Western countries, like the US. Easter Sunday is the Sunday immediately following the first full moon after the vernal (spring) equinox. It can fall anywhere between March 22 and April 25.

Good Friday is the Friday two days before Easter Sunday and Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday.

RETINAL ANEURYSM.... .......went to ER (what next) I say.........

Hi all, Earl took me to ER yesterday a..m. and they said I was

probably having a "detached retina". They sent us over to the

Virginia Eye Institute (about 2 miles from our house) and I saw a

surgeon and he ran a whole bunch of tests. No cataracts, glacoma,

etc. but said there was a good chance I could lose the sight in the

left eye.

He called one of his partners, a retinal specialist over and he came

over and ran more testing. He said it was a retinal aneurysm. All I

know is I can not see very well out of that eye at all and glad we

went to the ER. Anyhow, the eye is very cloudy and (no pain) looks

like there is a huge sandstorm in front of me with lots of blood

vessels floating around. Said for me to come back to see him next

week and to sleep with 3 pillows under my head on my back only, and

this is to let the blood trickle down the back of the eye and

dissapate. If it does not in a few weeks, then they will have to

remove the blood surgically. Yukk! ! ! !

Otherwise, our Easter was ok. You know me, always loooooooking at the

positive side. Only thing is Earl hates canned peas and that is what

our daughter-in- law served and they were cold. yukky. She always

has them and I think that is gross. But I loved the meal anyhow

cause I did not have to cook. I made d/eggs though and they were

great.

Today (men close your eyes now), I am going to put a soft pair of

undies under my glasses lens on left side to keep my eye closed. O

my goodness. I hope no one comes to the door in a week and sees

panties sticking out of my glasses. They will think this is a really

kinky house. WEll????? it is.

I had a work colleague who was Greek Orthodox, Easter was a more important celebration to her than Christmas.

Hi! It's really rare that Easter fell so early this year...it's been many years and will not happen again until around 200 years!

Mama-Sher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!

RETINAL ANEURYSM.... .......went to ER (what next) I say.........

Hi all, Earl took me to ER yesterday a..m. and they said I was probably having a "detached retina". They sent us over to the Virginia Eye Institute (about 2 miles from our house) and I saw a surgeon and he ran a whole bunch of tests. No cataracts, glacoma, etc. but said there was a good chance I could lose the sight in the left eye.He called one of his partners, a retinal specialist over and he came over and ran more testing. He said it was a retinal aneurysm. All I know is I can not see very well out of that eye at all and glad we went to the ER. Anyhow, the eye is very cloudy and (no pain) looks like there is a huge sandstorm in front of me with lots of blood vessels floating around. Said for me to come back to see him next week and to sleep with 3 pillows under my head on my back only, and this is to let the blood trickle down the back of the eye and dissapate. If it does not in a few weeks, then they will have to remove the blood surgically. Yukk! ! ! !Otherwise, our Easter was ok. You know me, always loooooooking at the positive side. Only thing is Earl hates canned peas and that is what our daughter-in- law served and they were cold. yukky. She always has them and I think that is gross. But I loved the meal anyhow cause I did not have to cook. I made d/eggs though and they were great.Today (men close your eyes now), I am going to put a soft pair of undies under my glasses lens on left side to keep my eye closed. O my goodness. I hope no one comes to the door in a week and sees panties sticking out of my glasses. They will think this is a really kinky house. WEll????? it is.Love, Lou
