I am so new to this so when people write in " computer > language " (e.g. IMO) I do not get it all the time. I feel bad that > she is leaving because I finding reading/replying to this group an > outlet for me ... thanks for the early Christmas present ! I'm really enjoying this as well. The problem I guess is that there are too many emails for some people. I don't think that Helen was seeing messages twice, just that people are including too much text when they reply to a message. So can I suggest the people trim their messages so that the text of who they are replying to is as short as needed. This way you can read the new text without paging through oodles of words irrelevant to the message. Also breaking into separate paragraphs can help. Just remember that everyone will try to read and decode your message. We should use " good business English " , where you use short sentences. This way you don't get tired holding your breath as you read. If anyone has other suggestions as to how we can keep our members then please let us all know. thanks, davidp. -- .Pascoe@..., Jtec Perth R & D Centre, Western Australia ------------------------------------------------------------------------
