Guest guest
My hashi's was triggered last year after I ate lots of kelp. I don't know whether iodine or mercury in the kelp triggered my autoimmune condition. Since it was triggered, life has completely changed. One medical issue after another to the point I feel I am incapacitated to work. The main problem at this moment is demyelinating disorder which has been detected by MRI. I did a spinal tap a few weeks ago. The doctor did not find my profile matching those of MS. So the diagnosis at this moment is sjogren's demyelinating disorder. Questions to all: 1) where and how can i get a mercury testing? conventional doctors do not test it, am i right? 2) I will probably have to go through a large dose of steroid to control the ongoing attacks. On a long term, are you using any drug to control the attacks? Some mentioned BBB here and your improvement, i wonder whether the improvement means no or fewer attacks. 3) any good doctor to recommend in NY metro area? I am seeing Dr. Apatoff for neurology and Dr. Anne Bass once for reumatology. I didn't click well with Dr. Bass. Anyone seen her before? Thanks, Ruby
