Guest guest
As the subject of Mannatech has come up again, I'll add that when I was googling it, I too found a fraud background, plus most of the searches when you dig down had some connection with the company or people working for them. Your analogy of pouring water in a hole dug in sand is my thought too. But while you are trying to get the body working again, you have to accept that a lot of sand will have to be washed away before you can start to build sandcastles. To add to your notes on the 8 essential sugars, I've done some research which might be helpful: 8 essential sugars GLUCOSE Honey, grape, banana, mango, cherries, strawberry, cocoa, aloe vera, licorice, garlic, echinacea, kelp GALACTOSE Fenugreek, kelp, apple pectin, apples, apricot, banana, blackberries, cherries, cranberries, currants, dates, grapes, kiwi fruit, mango, orange, nectarine, peach, pear, pineapple, plums, prunes, raspberries, rhubarb, strawberries, passion fruit, echinacea, chestnuts, broccoli, brussels sprouts, avocado, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, cucumber, potato, eggplant, tomatoes, leeks, asparagus, lettuce, green beans, mushrooms, beetroot, onions, parsnip, green peas, pumpkin, spinach MANNOSE Aloe vera, kelp, shiitake mushrooms, fenugreek, carob gum, guar gum, black currants, red currants, gooseberries, green beans, capsicum (cayenne pepper), cabbage, eggplant, tomatoes, turnip FUCOSE Kelp, wakame seaweed, brewers yeast XYLOSE Kelp, psyllium seeds, guava, pears, blackberries, loganberries, raspberries, aloe vera, echinacea, broccoli, spinach, eggplant, peas, green beans, okra, cabbage, corn N-ACETYLGLUCOSAMINE shiitake mushrooms, glucosamine sulphate N-ACETYLGALACTOSAMINE chondroitin sulphate, red algae - Dumontiaceae N-ACETYLNEURAMINIC ACID Whey protein concentrate or isolate, eggs (All underlined are either legumes which are not to be consumed on the Best Bet Diet or nightshade family which should be restricted. Janet ----- Original Message ----- From: Lydia Rawlings I did research on he founder (I don't have the link anymore) and I found out he was previously convicted of fraud. are the 8 essential sugars: I began to realize that throwing supplement at a dysfunctional body wasn't helping - sort of like pouring water in a hole dug in sand. Guest guest
I can't agree with you more, i tried the Ambrotose it was a hundred dollar jar of junk, I can't remember the exact dose but it was like a 1/8 of teaspoon so i did a tablespoon as I was starting to get real sick. It didn't do a thing. I have found if you go back to the saying of the Hippocrate " Let food be thy medicine, medicine will be thy food. " That includes the garden and herbs is what brought me to the finish line. Have a Happy and Healthy Day, Kopera M.H. © Copyright 2007 www.sCorner.com . It was expensive and it didn't work Then I did research on he founder (I don't have the link anymore) and I found out he was previously convicted of fraud. I began to notice that anyone claiming to be helped was actually trying to sell the product. I wouldn't go near that company. However, I do believe in the science behind glyconutrients. Here are the 8 essential sugars: 1. Glucose 2. Mannose 3. Galactose 4. Fucose (not to be confused with fructose) 5. N-AcetylGalactosami ne 6. N-AcetylGlucosamine 7. N-AcetylNeuraminic Acid 8. Xylose The four that aids cellular communication are Mannose, Galactose, Fucose, and N-Acetalglucosamine . Mannose is perhaps the most important when it comes to intercellular communication. Mannose is involved in more cell interactions than any of the other sugars and a deficiency in mannose has been linked to many health problems. The lack of Fucose in the junctions between the nerves would result in disruption of synaptic transmissions. Fucose plays an important role in eliminating and reversing inflammation. It has been discovered that the cause of rheumatoid arthritis is due to low levels of Fucose and Galactose Fenugreek contains both mannos and galactose. There is no known toxicity. Fenugreek helps protect against breast cancer. Kelp, wakame seaweed, and brewers yeast contains Fucos. According to studies, intake of large quantities of Fucose in the body does not cause side effects. N-Acetalglucosamine is available by supplement. There are many studies investigating this supplement and MS. I haven't read anywhere that sugars have to be ingested all at once in order to work. What I have read is that most complete glyconutrient products don't contain enough glyconutrients to be effective. I have found taking the above three products are helpful and far less expensive than Mannatech. I've stopped taking most supplements while detoxing heavy metal and dealing with suspected Lyme, fungus and leaky gut through colloidal silver (thanks Dudley) I began to realize that throwing supplement at a dysfunctional body wasn't helping – sort of like pouring water in a hole dug in sand. Would like to know what others think. Thanks….Lydia
Guest guest
Mannatech is a member of The World Health Organization (WHO). Mannatech's membership includes Monsanto, Wyeth, Pfizer, Bayer, BASF, Cargill and numerous other huge pharma interests. Does that send a warning? WHO is trying to take away our freedom of health choices around the world. Mannatech wants to claim nature's bounties as their own creation. Glyconutrients are not exclusive to Mannatech products! > > As the subject of Mannatech has come up again, I'll add that when I was > googling it, I too found a fraudulent background, plus most of the searches when > you dig down had some connection with the company or people working for > them. Guest guest
do you the information, websites, articles, etc. To support your claims. I would be interested in seeing it if you do. And you say that these Big Pharmas are " members " of Mannatech. Could you clarify what you mean by that? Thanks, Jana > > > > As the subject of Mannatech has come up again, I'll add that when I > was > > googling it, I too found a fraudulent background, plus most of the > searches when > > you dig down had some connection with the company or people working > for > > them. >
