Guest guest Posted May 18, 2010 Report Share Posted May 18, 2010 I believe from the bottom and top of my heart that our own stress and internalizing of stress is what begins the disease process of MS. I am sure we can all think about something that possibly triggered our MS. I was completely wheat free, dairy free and legume free when I was first diagnosed....but I was not stress free by any means. We internalize our stress and worries and it is as if our bodies begin to stew and cook (literally) as if the composition of our bodies begins to change and react with each stressor. I am following a lovely diet that inspires and guides me... but more importantly I am changing my outlook on life and meditating. Mindfulness Meditation.... being present and accepting of what is happening in our life. Feeling with out judging. Realizing that these symptoms are no fun for any one of us, and then letting go...and coming to our center, our breath. I am sending out love, and health to all of you!
