Guest guest
Hi Kami: Sorry the Arvara did not work for you. Whatever one you decide to take, I hope it works well for you. Take care. After a long talk with my family doctor yesterday about how I have been feeling lately and the fact I am only getting 3-4 days relief from Humira, I am strongly considering changing medications. Is anyone here on Simponi or Cimzia? The clinical research center at my doctor's office has seen great results with Simponi HOWEVER... the study has not been unblinded which means they do not know who had the drug and who had placebo. He told me on average, 20% of placebo patients see improvement. My doctor told me that the success rate they have seen for Simponi is great enough to recommend it for me. We touched briefly on Cimzia but he seemed to prefer Simponi. He also mentioned Remicade infusions which I am considering since so many have had good results. So... Simponi anyone? Cimzia? Bueller? Guest guest
Hi, I'm not much help, yet, as I am going through insurance approvals to change from Remicade to Simponi. The Remicade has been good for me; I get up in the mornings with almost no stiffness. But I'm having wrist and hand pain that is more frequent than it used to be, so I am questioning whether the Remicade is giving me as much relief as it once did. The part I stuggle with is should I really change since I am still functioning fairly well? This is a rhetorical question, but how good are you supposed to feel in order to say " I'm in medication-induced remission " ? I guess I am just scared of changing to Simponi and ending up feeling worse than I do now. Thanks for listening, and if you receive your Simponi before I do, please post and let us know how it's working for you.
