RA doctor visits.......question???

Does anyone have a problem with......let me explain what I mean...

I see my RA doctor every 3 to 4 months. When I am scheduled to see my

Rheumatologist...I get to the office and am told that I am seeing the Nurse

Practitioner. I feel when I see her she does not satisfy or understand my need

when I tell her about the pain, swelling and stiffness. The swelling she

told me I was having is normal for women during the summer. I had an

appointment this morning, but canceled due to transportation problems. Before I

could call the office they called me to say that the doctor would not be in

due to an emergency and could I reschedule. I was relieved sort of. I feel I

am not getting the attention of my RA doctor and need to make a change.
