Guest guest
Being a nurse I just wanted to put this out there. I understand folks need pain medication. I would suggest folks on vicodin or generic to ask their physician about Norco. Norco is the same ingredient except it has lower amount of aceteminophen (tylenol). The reason I think this might be important is many of us are on RA meds that are damaging to our liver, and aceteminophen is toxic to the liver in constant and high amounts. You should be sure you never go over 4 grams (4,000 mg) in a 24 hour period. The Norco has same amounts of hydrocodone so 5mg or 10mg. Just wanting to perserve some livers out there. I am fortunate that I can manage with ibuprofen for now and only rarely need to go to the higher dose medications. Hope everyone is doing well Dale Ellen
