I inject Humira weekly and have only been sick once and had to go off it for 2

weeks. Let me tell you... It was a horrible 2 weeks while being off it and

another 2 weeks til I felt better.

Hi...I have been on weekly shots of Humira (along with injections of Mtx). I

started with the usual dose of 2 shots per month, but had to go to weekly as 2x

a month did not work. I have been doing this for over 5 years now. Taking this

much does concern me, but I go downhill quickly whenever I have to go off such

as when I am otherwise sick, have surgery, etc. Does anyone else have to take a

double dose of Humira? Are you doing ok?

I've only started my Humira 2 shots ago, and am sitting here waiting for the

UPS truck to bring my second set of medicine. I haven't been on it long

enough to know anything but what you've said will help me in the future.

I'll try to pay attention to it. Thanks

Hi beautiful Cheryle,

Its so wonderful to hear from you, its been so long. I hope you, and

the family are doing OK. I was on Humira weekly, for awhile. It still

didn't work at that time, so my rheumy put me on Enbrel, and it worked

for awhile. Back on Humira now, 2 a month, and its working.

I know my rheumy told me, if it didn't work, there was no use to take

the med, because the drug can cause lots of problems.

If you are concerned, please talk to your doctor. You might try another

biologic for awhile. Always worth a try.
