Remember nna nadanna? She was right.

We finally got a good mix of drugs going on. Remicade, Imuran &

Prednisone. It seemed to be controlling the RA and Crohn's. Then I saw my

Endocrinologist and she said I've gone on with moderate hyperthyroid and we

needed to

do something about it. And I had my annual exam and my cholesterol had

gotten higher -- she said it was probably from the Prednisone.

So the same week I started on Methimazole for thyroid and Simvastatin for

cholesterol. a few days later, I had a small reaction to the Remicade

infusion. That night, my back and the backs of my legs ached. Since then, the

back of my right leg has muscle or some kind of connecting tissue pain. When

I'm on my feet a lot, it stiffens up so much, I can't bend my right knee.

And I'm back to frequent BMs. Crap!! In more ways than one.

I did stop the Simvastatin for a week to see if the symptoms stopped and

they didn't really. I can't even decide what kind of doctor to call.

Rhuematologist? PC Doc? Orthopedic? I'm attending a dance convention in two

weeks,

so am seeing an Ortho next week. At least he can give me a cortisone shot

in my knee if that will help.

It's frustrating.
