Guest guest
hi allison, I have had similar stories after trying alternative therapies. one time i tried sound healing with tuning forks and i was left paralyzed completely afterward. strange how ms develops. i, too, am doing things more slowly. in fact, after the experience with the tuning forks five years ago I pretty much stopped everything , alternative and traditional. May I ask your age? and where you live? curious about the variables. my ms seems to have mellowed out but i would like to return to having 0 exacerbations. for many years i was completely fine (or so i thought). i had my first diagnosis at age 33 (now am 45) and was immobile on my left side. had no problems whatsoever for 7 years until i hit a rocky patch in my personal life and all of a sudden, mayhem and things haven't been the same since. i am more peaceful now in my personal life. it's just the ms that troubles me now. i have a once a year exacerbation usually in summer lasting around a week. usually affects my legs. now, due to a friends plea for me to look into having my fillings removed ( her mother had ms) I am beginning to rethink different therapies. i tried copaxone once and stopped. have you ever tried these ABC drugs? --- Sab 12/6/10, ha scritto: Da: Oggetto: R: Re: Mercury A: mscured Data: Sabato 12 giugno 2010, 08:59 Â I was initially diagnosed with relapsing/remitting but was " upgraded " to secondary progressive. I never did remit! I developed total immobility after taking a product called Three-Lac to kill candida. I wasn't able to eliminate the waste before it recirculated. I don't know if it was mercury or dead yeast that caused the problem but I do things more slowly now. Mobility problems were my first obvious symptoms and were the reason that I saw a neurologist. They got worse before I realised by research what MS was, how it affects people and what I could do about it. I think that I have improved by having my amalgams removed, changing my diet and adding nutritional supplements. It's been a hit and miss journey. I also get sunshine, have Christian faith, keep myself busy with hobbies and try to live as normally as I can. I had nearly total upper body atrophy at one time. I couldn't sit without imbalance and I couldn't write my name or hold a vitamin in my hands. I had dropfoot early on and I've had brain fog and fatigue. I developed some secondary diseases as a result of my actions and those (hypothyroid) have been resolved for the most part. I get stronger as time goes by and I feel empowered over MS. I have faith that I will walk again. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi , > > > > > > > > > > > > > > There are lots of possibilities. Receiving a lot of injections (flu shots, allergy shots) containing thimerosol. Other cosmetic items containing it (such as contact lens solutions during the 80's and early 90's, and some women's makeup items. Some ear and nose drops. Eating lots of tuna or other high mercury fish. Your mother having a lot of mercury fillings in her mouth when she was pregnant with you. Being exposed to mercury from broken thermometers or fluorescent light bulbs. Mercury has been used as a preservative in paints to prevent mold. It used to be used in dentures to provide the pink color. Antiseptics like mercurochrome or merthiolate (very popular when I was growing up.) Lots of industrial applications. And lots of kids liked to get hold of liquid mercury and play with it..... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > With exposure to several of these, it's possible to build up quite a toxic load.....(I personally was exposed to 5 of those, in addition to 15 mercury fillings.) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Alice > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
