Dr. Shoffner-we've been waiting 14 weeks

I do not post often, but I read the posts daily and I'm looking for

some insight.

My son Jordan, 11 mos, was seen by Dr. Shoffner July 26, 2001 and had

muscle/skin biospy July 27, 2001. My husband and I have waited

patiently during the 8-12 weeks we were told by Dr. Shoffner. We are

now extremely anxious as we go onto 15 weeks. Being patient did not

seem to work so we are now trying the impatient route. We have

started calling Dr. Shoffner's office twice a day, we have given

Janice our FedEx number to have the results sent faster as well as

our fax number so we could at least have the summary faxed - all of

this has resulted in nothing more than Janice telling us " I know I

saw Jordan's paperwork somewhere " . I know this is just paperwork to

them but it is so much more to us. Does anybody have any

suggestions? I am getting ready to fly back to Atlanta and just sit

in the office.

Also, when I met with Dr. Shoffner in July he told me he would like

my husband and I to come back to Atlanta to review the results, it

would be easier he said - when we mentioned this when we've called

we've been told that he does not meet with us again we will get a

packet in the mail - not at all what he told me. Has anyone gone

over the results in person?

I know so many of you have much more pressing issues but I am running

out of ideas.
