Guest guest
I think we have understandably been getting swept away by the CCSVI news which gives us hope. In this group we all believe in trying to cure MS as naturally as possible. We refuse drugs with side-effects. CCSVI has no medication side effects (unless someone opts for blood thinning drugs) but it is still surgery and surgery comes (as we can see) with its own side-effects. The reason I am so excited about CCSVI is not about the surgical treatment in the first place, it is about knowing that the majority of us probably have it and can therefore start to explore alternative ways of treating it. Horse chestnut is certainly helping me. Has anyone else found this? Janet To: mscured From: alpdesigns1@... Heart surgery is not the kind of risk we deal with everyday, at least I hope we don't. > > > what was the surgery you were having? was this a CCSVI operation or a heart operation? I'm not sure why we don't explain the whole thing. risk is 1 thing we will all need to deal with everyday. we need to stay focused. _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live: Friends get your Flickr, Yelp, and Digg updates when they e-mail you. http://www.microsoft.com/middleeast/windows/windowslive/see-it-in-action/social-\ network-basics.aspx?ocid=PID23461::T:WLMTAGL:ON:WL:en-xm:SI_SB_3:092010

Guest guest
My SSDI appointed doctor (GP) was just certified in Color Doppler Ultrasonography. I could be a test case for him to use it. I don't know if SSDI would cover the cost. I had a mineral anylysis and it showed below optimal levels of iron in my hair. That does not mean that I have low iron in my body, it could mean that the iron is there but not bioavailable (maybe stuck in a juglar vein!). I'm still mulling it over but it is not likely I would go for surgery. Maybe in the future when the technology has been used with success on some of you! I still regret having my tonsils removed when I was a kid. I am needle phobic and that may influence me. > > > I think we have understandably been getting swept away by the CCSVI news which gives us hope. Guest guest
Hi I sooo understand the needlephobic thing!! Having to have Avonex injected was a nightmare for me until I stood up for myself and told them 'no thanks'! I think that's what gave me the strength to find another way and find Diet as a better alternative (and the BBD group and this group which has helped so much!). While I'm on this subject, thankyou all for helping ALL of us to find our ways through the MS maze. 'What we do in life, echoes through eternity.' Guest guest
No, the Horse chestnut is Now foods 300 mg which I've been taking since September. Country Life is the Circulation Factors that I've also experimented with. I spent a few weeks on that and am now back on the horse chestnut (Now products). I can't yet say which is having the best effects but undoubtedly they are doing something. I still have DiosMin and Serrazimes to try but won't move on until I know for sure what this is doing.
