Guest guest
I have gotten the Rituxin infusions for the last 4 years. 6 infusions all together. It takes about 2 weeks for me to see any difference in the pain and stiffness which never really goes away but just puts it at a point where I can stand the pains. I am scheduled for 2 more infusions in March. I am never in remission with this RA. The stiffness and pain did return for me after about 6 months. My doctor just ups my Methotrexate. Guest guest
Hi Chris:     I am so sorry your friend is still suffering so much with her RA. I don't know anything about Rituxan, but I sure hope it ends up helping her. RA is a ugly, beast of a disease.    I have missed your posts, and have thought about you and your friend. How are things with you? Your friend is so lucky to have you as a great and caring friend. I sure hope she finds her " Cocktail " of meds. so she can have some pain free days.     I hope we hear from you again, and, I hope next time you have some good news about your friend. Take care.     Hugs,      Barbara From: Petheram <chris65peth@...> Subject: [ ] Experience with Ritxuximab (Rituxan) Help please Date: Sunday, January 31, 2010, 3:25 AM  Has been a long time since my last post , but once again coming to the group asking on behalf of my friend for updates on people's experience with Rituxan ...Did it 'work' and particularly how long before you noticed first signs of improvement? Guest guest
I had been wondering what had happened to you. Sorry, I have no experience with Rituxan. I hope your friend soon gets relief. Guest guest
I've only had 2 infusions a little over a year ago and my RA went into remission. I am unable to take MTX. However, I went into remission about 2 months after having the infusions. No problems with rituxan at all. in SC Sent from my iPhone On Jan 31, 2010, at 11:33 AM, iafowl31260@... wrote: I have gotten the Rituxin infusions for the last 4 years. 6 infusions all together.
