Guest guest
Wow, Debs! You have been through the wringer AGAIN! Why are these doctors not trying to find out where the bleeding is coming from? When is the last time you had a colonoscopy? Something is seriously wrong - you need to get to a doctor that is going to figure this out and soon! Many prayers are coming your way. I pray they find out the source of your low hemoglobin. Did they put you on iron or give you any meds for this. How was your WBC count? I am beyond stunned. Please keep us posted.....Doreen Howdy dear friends! Well, it was back to the hospital for me within the last two weeks.? The end of June I ran a temp of 105.1 with absolutely no reason.? However, they sent me home with a hemoglobin of 8.? They had no explanation of this incident or anything else.? They are getting to be very friendly with me in ICU though.? My sister was due to visit starting on 7-15-09.? When my husband brought her home from the airport, I didn;t recognize her and I had slept through a doctor's appt,? Another call was placed ot 911 and this time, my hemoglobin was 3 (normal 10-13).? They POURED fluids and blood at the ICU. Any thoughts on what may be going on???? I am afraid that I may not make it to hospital in time or something else may be going on.? I have not started any new medications or anything else.? Please put those extra thinking caps on guys,? I really need ALL?possibilities.? Many pain free days to all!!!!!! Gentle, tender painfree days.?? Love to all from FL.......... Debs in FL
Guest guest
OMG Debs!!! Have you thought about going to another hospital? They shouldn't have sent you home like that. They have no idea what's up, you need a specialist, someone who can find out what's going on with your body. I hope someone here can make something out of this, and give you some ideas. You really need a expert though, we need to get you better. Please, take care, and know your in my prayers. I'm glad your family is there with you, Tawny > > Howdy dear friends! > > Well, it was back to the hospital for me within the last two weeks.? Guest guest
My dear Debbie: OMG, I feel so awful that you got so sick again and had to go to the hosp. 2 more times. What is going on it right! What did they say about your low blood count? While I was in the hosp. having my new knee, they discovered my blood count was 8. I had a blood transfusion, and daily iron pills. I am still on them. My blood count last month was up to 11, but they want it up to 13+. Did they do many tests on you? Do they think you are bleeding somewhere? What did they attribute the low count to? I would think you need to see either a blood specialist, or a Endocrinologist. The Endocrin. studies your body from head to toe. Maybe you need a good Diagnostic specialist. You have every right to be frightened, and worried about making the E.R. in time. You have a serious issue going on, and they need to find out what it is. I think of you so often, and pray that you can feel better soon. I know you are sick of drs, hosp. etc., but you owe it to yourself, to find the best dr. who can help you. I found my P.C. dr. by calling the hosp. and asking the nurse who she would send her mother or sister to. She gave me his name. He is the best dr. in this whole area. He takes such wonderful care of me. You will be in my thoughts and prayers Deb. Please rest as much as you can, and try to find a great dr. who can help you find out why you get so very sick so often. Good luck in your search. Wishing you better days ahead. God Bless you Deb. Guest guest
hi Deb: I am doing great. My knee is all healed, and very strong now. I was shocked that I had to have blood again this time. Also another bout with anemia. I am still taking the iron everyday. I need to get blood work again this week, and he will check to see if it has come up. I am a little tired, but not as bad as before. I am still decreasing the Pred., and so far so good. Time will tell with that. I have never been able to get off the Pred. as all the painful things came back, and I was in agony. I will be thinking of you tomorrow, and hope all goes well for you. You are such a sweet girl, and you have had things so damn hard. You are due for good days ahead. Hugs, your friend, Barbara > > > > Howdy dear friends! > > > > Well, it was back to the hospital for me within the last two weeks.? > The end of June I ran a temp of 105.1 with absolutely no reason.? > However, they sent me home with a hemoglobin of 8.?
