Update on Oz Transplant Stats

Hey Gang,

I just Googled the news story from last night & must re-state those stats.

The correct figure is 198 deceased organ donors for 2007.

626 people received organs from those 198 people.

That reminds me to double check what I hear on Tele News Broadcasts BEFORE I Post....

The figures from 2006 were 202 deceased organ donors with 695 people receiving their organs.

Still the numbers are woeful & among the lowest in the entire world.
