It normally manifests either as white discharge from the vagina or as white sort of coating in the mouth (oral thrush). It is very treatable however and so I think there's not too much to worry about candida > ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
hi, someone posted a lot of information waaay back, i think it was Bill in response to my queries on the toxins in the body etc, i take acidophilus with bifidus to assist me in " fighting " harmful bacteria as well as digestive enzynes, i also avoided wheat for 5 months as part of my triggers list as my herbalist mentioned some are allergic to yeast and wheat. susan red ears/ yeast >Well, I guess misery really really DOES love company! I'm sorry that those of you who responded to my red ears query have this weird problem, but boy am I glad I'm not as nutty as my derm seems to think I am. You'd think derms would be fully aware of all possible manifestations of rosacea, but they do not seem to be. For several years AFTER he diagnosed me w/ rosacea my derm blew off my complaints about my eyes, never once mentioning it could be ocular rosacea. I told him repeatedly that my eyes itched, were often irritated and swollen, that I had bumps along the lid margins, and my lashes were falling out. Oh well. > >Because I was recently diagnosed w/ osteoporosis I had to stop taking antibiotics. (antibitics leech calcium from bones and interfere w/ hormone absorption) I've been taking antibiotics for several years non-stop. I was really afraid my face and eyes would flare but it's really been okay. I stopped them about three weeks ago and my face and eyes are about the same. I continued using metrogel and still take the occaissional Zyrtec. However, I developed this rash on my scalp, and now I have a buncha itchy little bumps on my neck and a few on my extremities. Sorta like tiny mosquito bites. Perhaps this is totally unrelated to rosacea or stopping the antibiotics, but its a strange coincidence. > >Does anyone here know much about yeast / candida?
